Welcome to Field Notes for the Soul
There’s something sacred about pausing in the middle of life to notice—
what’s shifting,
what’s whispering,
what’s asking to be honored.
This blog, Field Notes for the Soul, is my way of gathering those moments. The ones that might otherwise pass unnoticed. The ones we don’t always talk about at work, or in the pickup line, or even with close friends—but we feel them.
This is for the women navigating transitions that don’t always have language. The ones who are no longer who they were, but not quite sure who they’re becoming. The ones asking deeper questions even as they hold it all together.
It’s for the woman who senses there’s more—and isn’t looking for a five-step fix, but a space to breathe, reflect, and feel her way forward.
You’ll find reflections here on midlife, identity, creativity, emotional wellbeing, and the quiet courage it takes to listen inward when the world is loud. Sometimes I’ll share stories from my own path, or moments from the women I work with (always held with care and confidentiality). Sometimes a prompt. A practice. A poem.
Whatever form it takes, my hope is that something here meets you where you are.
Because you're not alone.
Because you're allowed to change.
Because becoming isn't a project—it's a practice.
Thank you for walking this path with me.
This is just the beginning.
Andrea
